Education: Greg graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in accounting in December 1982. He earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina in April of 1987.

Greg is a partner in the Lexington office of Turlington and Company, L.L.P. Since joining the firm in 1987, most of his work has been concentrated in the area of taxation. Also, Greg serves as the continuing professional education partner.
Greg has worked with clients on a variety of tax-related issues. Greg has extensive knowledge of individual, partnership and corporate tax law and regulations. His experience has been invaluable in assisting clients in tax planning and preparing tax returns. Greg has also used this knowledge to represent clients in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and state tax authorities. In addition to his focus on taxation, Greg also has extensive experience with not-for-profit entities and performs compilation and review engagements.

In addition to his work responsibilities, Greg is active in church and civic activities. He is currently an active member of Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church. Previously, he served as a board of trustees member, Chairperson and Consistory President of Emanuel Reformed Church. In addition, he previously served as a board member and treasurer of United Church Homes and Services.
His civic involvement includes serving as a board member and treasurer of Habitat for Humanity and being involved as a United Way volunteer.
