Partners

Bob is a partner in the Lexington office of Turlington and Company, L.L.P.  Bob began accumulating his extensive experience in 1983 when he joined the firm. Bob serves as the tax partner for the firm and maintains extensive knowledge of tax regulations on the federal and state levels.

Bob’s experience enables him to advise firm clients on a wide range of tax matters.  Bob’s knowledge of estate, trust, individual, partnership, and corporate taxation issues has been invaluable to the firm and its clients.  In addition to leading the firm’s tax practice, he has assisted clients in structuring mergers and acquisitions, estate and trust planning, retirement planning, succession planning, automotive, dealership consulting, as well as representing clients with federal and state tax authorities.

Bob graduated with honors from Western Carolina University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an accounting concentration.  He passed the November 1981 Uniform CPA exam and was designated a Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina in July of 1983.

Bob is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA).

Bob is devoted to his family.  He married his wife, Jackie, in 1985 and they have three children.  Bob is an active member of Macedonia United Methodist Church.  He also enjoys serving the visually impaired through the Lions Organization and he has served in many capacities on the local and district levels including President of the Linwood Lions Club and District Treasurer and Region Chairman.
